"Often the hands will solve a mystery that the intellect has strugggled with in vain." - C.G. Jung

What is Sandplay?
Sandplay therapy is a nonverbal play therapy technique where clients use a sandbox (or sandtray), miniature figures, and water to create a miniature world that reflects their inner thoughts, feelings, and struggles, with the goal of promoting healing and self-integration. Developed by Dora Kalff, this Jungian-based method provides a safe, symbolic space for the unconscious to guide the client toward wholeness, facilitating emotional expression, problem-solving, and transformative healing through a hands-on, sensory experience
Benefits of Sandplay Therapy
Emotional Expression
Provides a nonverbal outlet for expressing feelings that are difficult to verbalize, making emotions more accessible and less overwhelming.
Inner World Exploration
Offers a tangible representation of a client's symbolic, internal world, allowing them to explore deep-seated struggles and concerns in a safe environment.
Self-Integration
Facilitates a sense of balance and wholeness by integrating unconscious material into consciousness and promoting a deeper connection with the psyche.
Trauma and Conflict Resolution
Helps individuals, including children and adults, process trauma, resolve inner conflicts, and develop new ways of thinking and behaving.
